FORWARD Nepal marked its 29th Establishment Day with a program at Bharatpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 2, highlighting nearly three decades of work in agriculture, fisheries, environment, social transformation, development and communication. The event was chaired by Forward Nepal President Pustak Raj Ojha, who shared the fact that the organization has served more than 600,000 households across 65 districts. Chief guest Manoj Ranabhat, ward chairperson of Bharatpur-02, praised FORWARD Nepal’s initiatives and expressed the local government’s keenness to strengthen collaboration with NGOs.
Other speakers included legal expert Jagannath Bhandari, founding members Netra Pratap Sen and Gam Bahadur Gurung, former president Dr. Ujjwal Tiwari and current treasurer Krishna Bahadur Bhandari. As part of the celebration, a community meal was organized at the Devghat Social Welfare Center for elderly residents, led by Vice President Rashu Thakali. Center President Sadan Baral briefed attendees on the home’s services. The program also featured a tree plantation drive to mark the occasion.
